By browsing or sending an inquiry through this website, you agree to these terms. The site is operated by Mandell Mahjong — the mahjong instruction and events business of Sandra Mandell, Certified Mahjong Instructor, serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island.
Inquiries, not bookings
Every form on this site — for lessons, Guided Play, The Hidden Dragon, Girls Night, tournaments, or private gatherings — sends an inquiry to Sandra. It is not a reservation, registration, or a confirmed seat at the table. Dates, times, availability, and pricing are all arranged directly with Sandra, and details may change before they're confirmed.
Pricing and details
Rates shown on this site are current at the time of posting but are confirmed directly with Sandra when you book. Offerings, locations, and schedules may be updated without notice.
Your National Mah Jongg League card
For play beyond the beginner series, players are asked to bring their own current National Mah Jongg League card. The card is published by the National Mah Jongg League; Mandell Mahjong is not affiliated with the League.
Photos and words
The photography, tile artwork, logos, and written content on this site belong to Mandell Mahjong or are used with permission. Please don't reuse them without asking first. The Mandell Mahjong name and monogram are the identity of this business.
Playing at your own pace
Mahjong is a game played at the table, and tables involve chairs, tiles, and a little friendly competition. Participants take part in any gathering at their own discretion; Sandra and Mandell Mahjong are not responsible for personal property, injuries, or disputes between players.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows — for example, when online booking or shopping arrives. The version posted here is the one that applies.
