Let the good times roll

More than a game. A way to connect.

It started with a letter about Monday-night lessons, a few girlfriends, and a game none of us could stop playing.
Today, Mandell Mahjong is all about clear teaching, hands-on play, and lots of laughter.
Come for the Mahjong. Stay for the friendships.

Hi, I'm Sandra.

Mahjong Instructor · Tournament Organizer · Passionate Player

My Mahjong journey began three years ago with a post about lessons at a local synagogue. I signed up, brought a few girlfriends along, and we quickly became obsessed. Weekly games at Brookville Country Club became my training ground, and teaching followed naturally.

Since Spring 2026 I've been teaching on my own—and my favorite part is watching new players find their confidence around the table.
